1st Quarter 2012 Yarmouth ME Housing Report

During the 1st quarter of this year, 21 homes were sold in Yarmouth Maine. This quarterly sales volume was 17% higher compared to last year and 24% higher compared to the previous quarter. Homes in the Yarmouth real estate market sold at a median price of 316K which was similar to 1st quarter of last year – down by just 1%. The median number of days on the market for homes in Yarmouth during the 1st quarter was 93.

This reflected a 9% year over year decrease in sales volume, as well as a 17% decrease from the previous month’s sales. The median price for homes and condos in Westbrook was 181K which had increased by 15% compared to Feb. 2011. The average number of days on the market for Westbrook homes that sold in February was 154 – up 40% from last year.

Falmouth ME March 2012 Housing Update

A total of 13 home sales were made in Falmouth during in the month of February. This was a 63% year over year rise in sales volume, as well as a 44% increase month over month. Homes and condos sold in February in Falmouth Maine were on the market for an average of 158 days, up 9% compared to January. The median price point for Falmouth homes was 450K, up from a month earlier.

Feb. 2012 Brunswick ME Housing Update

In the month of January 2012, a total of 12 homes sold in the Brunswick Maine residential real estate market. This was a 33% increase in the number of homes sold compared to the previous year. Alternately, it was a 48% decrease in sales volume since December 2011. The median price point was 203K, identical to last month. The average number of days on the market for Brunswick homes was 80 days – down 13% from last year in January.

2011 Real Estate Wrap-up for Yarmouth ME
